I usually don't explain songs that I write but I'd like to explain this one a little bit, if you'll indulge me. As some of you may know, we, uh, we're doing two residencies: we did one in Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville...hippie capital of the east. <strong>(crowd cheers)</strong> Uh, heh, yeah, exactly. And uh...and uh, the whole idea of doing these kind of many shows in one place is to just get comfortable and write some songs and try to take some chances and actually play music for a change, thank you. And uh, I was very successful, I felt, in Asheville, I–I caught whatever the vibe was in the air, which was some sort of like hippie 2000 thing. And uh, we had a great time and uh, but I have to say, since I've come to San Francisco, I've had a hard time. I've, uh, I don't blame San Francisco, I blame myself, but had a hard time dialing this place in.
