Girl: I know, but we might know the words to it.

Girl in crowd: We could get a singalong to Go, Cubs, Go.

BC: The two things I can’t stand about Cub-dom is [sic] when they used to come out to Jump by Van Halen...and I love the song, but that was just such a weird - Jump for baseball? - and uh, and then Go, Cubs, Go. And Steve Goodman - the late, great Chicago songwriter who wrote that song, this great artist - wrote one of my favorite songs, City of New Orleans, if you know that song by Arlo Guthrie. But man, that song is just, that’s a nightmare. And only this city would embrace it as some sort of...weird - yeah, it’s like, it’s like, it’s a reverse the curse kinda thing, like....
