Introduction by MC.
Corgan: Hello. Are you ready? We're going to celebrate the new year.
Rocket
Bury Me
Window Paine
Bye June (abandoned)
Corgan: Oh yeah. Yeah I can't even remember my own fucking song, it's pitiful, it's what happens when you take drugs when you play in a band.
Tristessa
Corgan: Yeah, we got the blues.
Wretzky: I just want to apologize right now, cause my dad is here, and he's making me really nervous.
Iha: A salute to Jerry Wretzky, keeper of bug.
Corgan: You know who bug is, don't you? Who actually owns the album, that's the real question, yeah, Happy New Year, but who's bug, man?
Iha: That's the real poignant question of New Year's Eve. It's who is bug? Why are we all [unintelligible]
Snail
Iha: Sorry I sprained my ankle today.
Corgan: He sprained his ankle.
Iha: I've got what's called 'hoofer's disease'
Corgan: This is a song about loving animals, really loving animals. And not just the farm kind, either.
Siva
Suffer
I Am One
Corgan: Thank you very much. You know, I have to talk to, be quiet. You know, I've said a lot of bad things about Chicago. I thought I was just being honest like I am an honest person with our music, our band, so if anyone's offended by the things I've said, don't take it too personally. It's still my home and the things I say are not meant to put things down, they're attempts to make things better. Hopefully we'll see more bands out of Chicago. Nothing would make me happier than to see more bands from here because it's a great place, but don't you forget, you have to support these people and they may not have their shit together at the beginning, but try and look beyond the obvious jewels in the rough and try to see a band. There's a lot of people here who were with us from the beginning, and they supported us very early. And to you people, we thank you forever, because you gave us hope. It's easy to sit up here and say these things, but we've had a good year. But when things were rough there really were people who supported us and I can't say enough thank yous.
Iha: Yes [unintelligible] sincerely.
