BC: Bonsoir. Thank you very much for being with us tonight. We do not play the blues. We do not play jazz. We play songs of the heart. Sacré Coeur. C’est bon. Billy c’est bon. So thank you, we hope you have a good time. We're blessed - we're blessed to be with you. Like to introduce the band to you. (to Jeff) You're not in your spot. On the guitar, Jeff Schroeder. Jeff, you’re from France, right?
Jeff: Yeah, in a former life. (laughing) I was Joan of Arc’s boyfriend.
BC: On the drums, the young, the erstwhile, the searching, the probing, the penetrating Michael Byrne. Mike did not know love until he came to France. On the bass guitar, the lovely Nicole Fiorentino.
Nicole: Bonsoir. ... I like your comedy. Hope everybody’s having fun, yes?
BC: How come you always get extra cheers? You get more cheers than I do.
Nicole: ‘Cause it’s their favorite instrument.
BC: What’s that?
Nicole: The bass is their favorite instrument.
BC: Oh, the bass.
Nicole: It’s the best.
BC: Yeah, the French and the bass.
Nicole: They love their bass.
BC: We'd like to carry on. (Nicole plays a second of distorted bass) You want to play a bass solo or...?
Jeff: Heh heh heh heh, yeah! Come on.
Nicole: [unintelligible sentence or two.] I don’t do that.
BC: I can play a bass solo.
Nicole: Do it! Do we have time for this?
(Billy plays on her bass, Jeff and Mike join in)
Nicole: That was really awkward.
BC: Stanley Clarke is looking for me right now. Stanley Clarke. Yes. What's my name?
Nicole: Who are you?
BC: My name’s fuckin’ Pierre. Pierre Cordon!
Nicole: Pardon (French pronunciation).
BC: (French accent) I wear the stripey shirts and...
Nicole: (French accent) And you play the bass guitar.
BC: (French accent) Today? Today? No, tonight. (normal) Actually, for you tomorrow. I will meet you tomorrow. No, tomorrow.
Nicole: Oh, it's fun.
BC: The Gauls, you can't stop ‘em. Heh heh heh heh. I love the French accent, it's just so good. To our untrained, unsophisticated American ears, it just sounds like (imitates French talking). So we'd like to carry on now!
Nicole: They’re gonna throw that at your face.
BC: This is the title track from our album Oceania. We hope you enjoy the journey, it is called Oceania.

BC: Thank you very much, thank you. Have you had a good time? Now normally, that’s the end of the show right there. It’s true! But tonight...because you’ve been such a lovely audience....
Nicole: I agree.
BC: We are going to play this special bonus song.
Nicole: No mas.
BC: Now if you don’t like the special bonus song, like those people...that are leaving.... (crowd boos) The special bonus song leaving people. Well, I’m sorry. So please sing along if you know this song. You ready, Jeff?
Jeff: Ready.
BC: Heh heh heh heh.
